Theme Ideas

The Chapter will only advise and will not dictate to the host a theme selection, but the theme shall promote the AWS mission of “Wine Appreciation through Education”. The host has freedom to be creative with the theme. Below are several theme examples but tasting is not limited to them.

  • By Grape Varietal – Tasting a number of wines from white to red can provide a feel for the difference between grape varietal. The tasting can be from the same country, region, state, appellation, or from anywhere)
